One Last Layout

I've got one last layout to share with you further to my creative spurt over the Christmas holidays. I'm sad to say I haven't seen the inside of my scrap room since before last weekend. I have tons of scrap ideas floating in my head, but no time to scrap. Ironically, by the time I do have time to scrap, I'll probably be in a scrap funk like my friend Barb. Oh well ... it always passes!

Strange

Very easy page to put together! Gotta love that owl patterned paper. I bought it in Kingston when the girl and I visited Queens in the fall. Can't remember for sure but I think it's Sassafrass. In case you're wondering, that's the boy and the husband in the picture. They've got swim goggles on and are playing swords with pool noodles and using boogie boards as shields. What can I say; we had a pretty boring summer vacation and had to make up some fun for ourselves!

I could sure use another vacation now though, even a boring one. There's no end in sight to the transit strike and I'm getting really tired - both mentally and physically - of getting up at 5 a.m. to carpool in, in time to find parking downtown.

Another busy weekend ahead ... I've got groceries and about half of the laundry done, but now it's time for hockey practice. I'll run some errands during practice (no choice but to multitask today) and then we'll rush back home so the boy can shower and dress for our big evening out. We're going to go see the Sens beat the Rangers (ah, the power of positive thinking!) and are going a bit early so we can make a night of it. You can play Playstation 3 for free there ... cool.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Another great LO, Nathalie. I love how you used the owl with the goggle LO. See, I have no idea how I'd ever incorporate those animal papers and embellishments onto my pages, so I stayed far, far away from them.

And yes, I'm still in my scrapbooking funk. I think I need to torch my messy scrap desk and storage bins and start over. lol

Great page. I love the yellow background. It's very happy.

I think there's a few of us out there that need a big scrapping kick start.
